ARD Prep Session
IEP Record Review and Consultation
Comprehensive IEP Records Review
A focused consultation designed to help families feel more prepared and confident before an upcoming ARD/IEP meeting.
Prior to the session, families must submit current IEP/ARD documents and a brief summary of concerns for review.
During the consultation, we will discuss:
-Meeting priorities and concerns
-Questions to ask during the ARD
-Current supports and services
-Common special education terminology and processes
-Strategies for effective and collaborative advocacy
This session is intended to help families better understand the ARD process and feel more organized and confident entering the meeting.
Submit IEP records in advance for review, followed by a 60 minute in person or zoom consultation to discuss supports, concerns, confusing language, and potential next steps. Designed to help parents better understand the special education process and advocate with greater clarity and confidence.
This service is designed for families who want a deeper understanding of their child's educational records, supports, and current programming. Families will submit relevant records, including IEP/ARD documents, evaluations, progress reports, and related educational paperwork for review.
After reviewing the records, families will receive:
-A written summary of key observations, areas of concern, and considerations
-Guidance regarding current supports and programming
-Suggested questions and discussion points for future meetings
-A follow-up phone call to review findings and discuss next steps

ARD Meeting Support Package
This service provides families with support before and during an upcoming ARD/IEP meeting.
Prior to the meeting, families will participate in a consultation to discuss concerns, priorities, and meeting goals. Relevant educational records and current IEP/ARD documents will also be reviewed in preparation for the meeting.
Support includes attendance at one ARD/IEP meeting (up to 2 hours) to assist families in navigating discussion, understanding recommendations, and advocating effectively and collaboratively throughout the process.
A brief follow-up consultation or summary will also be provided after the meeting.
Will travel within 45 driving minutes of the Austin area. Otherwise, advocate will participate by video conference.
Talk-it-Out
This 45-minute session is designed for parents who need a focused conversation to sort through concerns, questions, or confusion related to special education services, ARD meetings, or their child's educational plan. This is an opportunity to talk through what's happening, gain clarity on the process, and identify practical next steps in a supportive, informed setting. While this is not a full records review or formal report service, it provides families with professional insight, guidance, and direction so they can move forward with greater confidence and understanding.
